ACC Systems Inc., North American distributor of the Atid line of premium handheld RFID readers, has raised the standard of performance with its suite of Impinj Indy R2000 RFID readers. The R2000 reader chip ensures optimal read reliability and faster read rates. The AT870NAB700 and AT980 POS terminal are all offered with either the WinCE.Net 5.0 or WEHH 6.5 OS while the ANDY500 comes with Android Jelly Bean or Kitkat.

At about half the size of the Motorola MC9190, smaller and more durable (IP65) than the MC3190, these work-horse readers outperform all competitors. No other readers have more optional features and all are available together on one handheld.

The AT870N, AB700, AT980 and ANDY500 were all designed from the ground up as rugged, ergonomic one-piece integrated handheld readers, well-balanced with a comfortable solid feel.

For optional features, choose from GSM/GPRS, CDMA, HSDPA to GPS and from 2D barcode to 3.0 MP flash camera all on the same unit with UHF, WiFi and Bluetooth.  Aside from the standard WiFi, the 5GHz WLAN is also supported. In addition to reading EPC GEN 2 tags, the UHF model also reads ISO/IEC 18000-6B tags. If an application requires 13,56MHz tags, the AT980 and AB700 HF models read ISO 15693, Mifare, ISO 14443 Type A and B credentials and tags.

For software, the Atid readers from ACC Systems Inc. come right out of the box with a simple to use Demonstration program allowing scanning, storing and sending wireless data. The ACC Systems Inc. Middleware utility program is another option that will eliminate the need for programming to handle data manipulation and formatting and wireless or wired data output files which can be sent to a computer or to the cloud. When entering tag item data into a Workstation or PC data-entry screen, the AB700 with the ACC Bluetooth utility program will scan tags (both RFID & Barcode) into the screen prompts one at a time like a mobile keyboard wedge rather than keyed. Additionally, off-the-shelf applications are available for asset trackingfile trackingand inventory among others. The Atid handhelds are ideal for warehouse, yard management, asset tracking, and logistics applications.
