Sirit SDIO RFID Reader

Sirit’s Plug-n-Play SDIO RFID Module was designed to broaden access to RFID technology beyond the engineering lab and into the mass market, by enabling the quick, easy, and cost-effective integration of RFID technology into devices without the need for complex
engineering support or technical know-how. Utilizing the mass-market industry standard Secure Digital (SDIO) interface and an integrated reader-antenna packaging, Sirit’s Plug-n-Play SDIO RFID Module can instantly transform a myriad of everyday devices including smartphones, PDAs, handhelds, and laptop PCs into cost-effective RFID readers and writers.

Furthermore, the ‘plug and play’ capabilities of the Sirit SDIO RFID Module allow devices to be upgraded on an aftermarket basis, and
in the field, thereby providing an extremely quick and cost-effective method to preserve existing investments in devices and evolve legacy
equipment to support RFID technology.

Utilizing patent-pending technology, the Sirit Plug-n-Play SDIO RFID Module supports a broad range of high frequency (13.56 MHz)
RFID transponders, tags, and smart labels including ISO 14443A&B, ISO 15693, ISO 18000-3, INSIDE PicoTag™, HID iClass®*+, Tagsys
C320*, MIFARE® Ultralight, MIFARE Classic*, MIFARE DESFire*, MIFARE PROX*, MIFARE PRO*, FeliCa™*, KSW TempSens®, KSW VarioSens® and supports a wide range of operating systems including Microsoft® Windows Mobile®/Pocket PC (2003 and up). The Sirit Plug-n-Play SDIO RFID Module also features an extremely small form-factor and low power consumption, thus providing an optimal solution for a myriad of mobile and handheld applications.

Applications
Featuring ‘plug and play’ integration, broad multi-protocol RFID support, and aftermarket installation capabilities, Sirit’s Plug-n-Play SDIO RFID Module enables a wide range of high growth mass market applications including contactless/cashless payments, public transportation and transit ticketing, advanced consumer retail affinity and CRM, event/venue management, pharmaceuticals, product authentication, health care, access control, and ePassports.
